Yes it all fits. The evangelical view includes a dominance hierarchy within the trinitarian godhead even. In the evangelical theory of atonement (why it was necessary for Jesus to die): God is enraged by sin, and has to take it out on somebody; Jesus offers to be the somebody and God releases his wrath on him. It’s a strongman ethic. And classic projection: we are the ones enraged taking it out on our scapegoats — how convenient and self-serving to see this as divine justice.
