I will say the faux warmth/understanding/sympathy of my (now former) evangelical pastor colleagues toward the LGBTQ people they claim to know an love … while maintaining a steely eye on the tribal boundaries, determined not to cross them … claiming a posture of love throughout … oh that doth vex me mightily.
