The Bishop doesn’t seem to realize the oppressed get to say OUCH! without being shooshed by the people whose beliefs create such an environment of harm. He might do well to read the ending of Psalm 137 where the oppressed exile in Babylon goes on a tirade against his oppressors. Why was this screed included in the sacred canon? Because howls of protest can be a form of sacred speech.
