Sometimes I think people make these “outreaches to opponents” to be able to tell their own homeboys that they tried but were rebuffed, getting credit among their own people for “going the extra mile” Classic projection: it’s easier to blame you for being “inconsiderate” than to consider the real harm done by the on-the-books teaching of his church.
