James, I loved your article about that Jesuit church. Yes, the bubbles in RC world and evangelical world are equivalent. Many Catholic parishes qualify as mega churches and bishops are a layer removed. In think the non-denominational mega church are relatively resilient, because while evangelicalism is losing younger generations (not as much as mainliners though) the mega churches can continue to gain attendees from smaller failing congregations. And they are marketing savvy. But via Hillsong scandals etc getting lots more bad press. I’m watching it and wondering myself.
