I wonder if this accounts for much of the mob behavior in the Jan. 6 insurrection? the bit about men acting like idiots, especially when they congregate. There must have been men who came to DC thinking they were play acting something (I use the term 'thinking" loosely here) and then getting swept into to group idiocy in the moment.
