Hmmm….not compelling critique. Lady Wisdom is depicted as such for grammatical reasons and not (also) because humans undergoing God, experiencing God, had experiences of a presence that felt to them to be feminine? Where do the depictions of God originate? As text, disconnected from experience? I’d never have been drawn to a God known in this way. Abraham left Ur because he experienced a Voice. Jesus experienced God as a dear abba. Early church experienced the risen Jesus as closely connected to a feminine presence — a real possibility. The grammatical constructions are efforts to bear witness to real experiences of the divine and matters associated with the divine. This is the only kind of faith that interest me, at least.
